While the 47-year-old claimed the drugs were for his personal use, his lawyer Julia Clarke told the court he did not think growing marijuana was wrong and painted a picture of a man who cared for his cannabis the same way he cared for his extensive vegetable garden.

sad stuff :(

the poor bastard was probably deceived or forced into letting the pigs in :uhhuh:

either that or he`s a stubbie short of a six pack

this is setting a precedent people :uhhuh: ..... even though he got locked up, his defense will be recorded for anyone to refer too :uhhuh:

can imagine 100-1000 more people having the same or similar excuse will have some effect for the better :scratchin:

i know, ... wishful thinking

either way, this story tells me im fubar :faint:

Cop. " it was reported that your neighbour heard a gun shot from your back yard"

Defendant. " Nah I was using my stock whip to scare birds out of my garden"

Cop. "well we have to investigate due to the seriousness of the report"

Cop " mind if we look around?"

Defendant. "no worries, I have no guns here, come on in"

Poor bugger! They could have flashed anything under his nose. The fact he is not very well educated(through no fault of his own) probably brought him undone.
