Growing mother plants outdoors?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I couldn't find anything about this on google or using search so ill go right ahead and ask. This will be my first grow, outdoors. I'm wondering if it's possible to grow mother plants from seeds right now, let them grow outdoors and have them ready for cloning by the start of the season (sep-oct)? How mature do the mother plants have to be to start cloning? Is this possible, or do they HAVE to be grown indoors under lights? I ask because growing indoors isn't an option for me. Cheers

if you dont have a good line on seeds at the moment then i say go for it man. its not impossible, the plant will grow and you will be able to take cuttings. it wont be too large, could be a male AND wont provide too many cuttings. but three or four clones will still produce more than a single plant (if it turns out to be female). if you wanna give it a try, go for it!! even if it doesnt turn out well for you, it will be a good personal learning experience.

cloning indoors is much easier though..

also, you should probably wait around two months before taking cuttings from the plant
