Victoria :) few questions!

yeah mate down in vic too. Cheers for the words of advice, I've decided to wait until mid to late august until i germ them.

Considering we almost missed out on summer last year, I have high hopes for an awesome growing season this year

im in vic too,im going early this year becouse of the crap summer here last year.

invested in a little greenhouse from bunnings for 40$ hope that protects them from the cold crap days still too come.

Yeah well the weathers looking good so far ! Spring has come early , a greenhouse with some good mulch and stuff underneath will help because that's where some of the heats generated from a few degrees hotter and I'll be starting a few early too

haha yeah it helps while the plants are small as it generates a bit of heat and moisture in the greenhouse

soon they will be big enough to be creating heat themselves.

i think i might have gotten the same greenhouses from bunnings haha, keep me up to date !

hey dopedogg good to see you found Oz stoners. attitude are probably one of the best for ordering seeds, especially if you go with their 'stealth shipping' option, i got.....

 

i'd just be careful about putting your babies out too early this year guys, i know we had a crappy end to the summer (i lost nearly my whole crop to mold because of it) but if often goes in cycles every two years. like early summer, then late summer, then early...blah...blah...blah...so that would mean that this coming summer it should, by that theory, be a later summer. just look at the summer before last, we had heat waves in march/april but this year it was pissing rain most of march and april. as a few people have already said, putting them out 3 weeks early, will actually STUNT their growth and if u tested it and put more out 3 weeks later when your supposed to you would find the later ones will get much bigger much faster. air temp is a big thing and until early October in southern Victoria the air is still too cold at night

Mate, anyone can log onto any of those seedbank sites, even easier than this one (u dont have to log in) and can quite clearly choose up to about 7 or 8 different 'stealth' methods and it explains what they are so I wouldnt worry so much!!

None of the seed banks I have bought from actually tell you what the seeds are coming in, some just say a gift others just tell you it is stealth.

And why help the law? Why make it easier for them?
