A shy friends grow...

Okay, these following shots are from a few days later... This is the overall... Growth is great, although it should be considering the lights were turned down.. 5 days into flowering photoperiod now. The stretch is on!

Okay, this is a shot of the center 9... These are bloody great looking plants... I'm a little concerned about the larger WR plants shading out that last GWS at the back, but leia has assured me she's removing the fan leaves on the WR on each side of the GWS... So there shouldn't be a problem. Hopefully there should end up a relatively even canopy, with a transition between the lower flat canopy leading up to the higher plants on either side... No wasted light, as the light which comes out from the sides isn't just reflected, it's used up by plants... Well, that's the plan anyway...

Okay, this is a closer shot of the center plants, I'm a little concerned that the back GWS will be a shaded out by the taller WR plants on either side... But leia has assured me that this won't happen, as she's been removing selectively the fan leaves on the WR plants on either side of the single GWS up the back. So no problem.

 

This is looking fantastic, leia is an excellent grower, and I look forward to seeing the bud formation over the next few weeks. The canopy should be quite even, with a flat base slightly higher at the back, and a transition to vertical planes as it moves up to the upper level plants on either side.

 

Well, that's the plan, anyway... hopefully they'll all come up to similar heights and similar sizes... It's looking good so far.

Okay, here's a shot of a bw plant close up... the internode length is quite long, but there are a couple of factors here...

 

One, it's a sativa dominant cross... two, it's on the edge of the canopy, and as yet hasn't been trained to most effectively utilise the light, (something leia is fixing as we speak I think) and three, it's already been turned to flower, and this is mostly stretch happening here... This particular pheno has quite long buds, and they develop quite quickly comparitively to other sativa dominant plants... The buds are indica, the form is large sativa... gotta love it.

This is a shot of the three WR plants on the right side, all doing really well, and should produce great. This shot will be followed by a comparitive with the bw... These WR plants have really shown their good hybrid vigour... a nice blend of genes here, and they're doing great.

BW- my guess is Black Widow? if so thats a damn rare strain you got their.

What size is that growroom looks like about 5'x3' ? . Once they start to fill out major problems ,to bunched up and not enough light , and no access to the rear plants cull half of them now ,you'll be doing yourself a big favour.
