30x loop

Guys will a 30x loop be powerfull enough to see trichomes well to determine harvest?

some people say so... I got one, I can see them but can't tell if they are cloudy. Get the 60-100x from ebay with led light. U need good light with loop. Only like 5 bucks and works great.

I have an x30 loupe. Few bucks on eBay. It's done the job in the past.

 

I guess it would depend on your lighting and your eye sight too. I have found I need to get the loupe in just the right spot for a clear image.

I use a 30x jewelers eye peice ( $30 ) and has done the trick for the last 5 years ........but the stuff I look at usually has massive crystals

I would rather a stronger microscope though , stuff is beautiful and worth a closer look

Haha I hope Im in the same boat and looking at massive crystals soon too. Just ordered some Pineapple Chunk and Sweet Tooth from Barneys Farm for an indoor grow

it will do if you have nothing ...............& once you know what your looking at in the right place it's perfect. I have a range of 'maggy's' check out the $2.00 bargen shops as they have a collection in store. I use x10, x20, x30, x40 & a huge glass x100 - metro-markets have all sort of grow gadgets There have been some good loop photo posts on Os showing what you want to be looking at (soz no link). Very worth a look peeps!
