Outdoor in Tas

Recommended Posts

Ok theres a possibility I will be moving from up here in hot hot QLD down to cold cold tassie in the near future. Unfortunately it may end up being much too soon as ive just got my first grow started up here, and I'm starting to think i may have to put my little babies up for adoption ;) or maybe do my part in overgrowing aus and set them loose in the wild :D

Anyway, depending on what happens if i do end up in tas, hows the growing down there (outdoors)? I mean, i know there is a lot of forests or whatever but how does our friend mary jane stand the weather? I really want to try my hand at indoor as well, but that will have to wait until ive got my new place sorted :P

So yeah, I guess im asking any outdoor growers in tas round here how tough is it to get a good grow goin down there, how are yields etc? and do you have to grow real stealthy-like to avoid gettin busted by all the bushwalkers hehe :)

Peace.....

never been to tas but i have heard the growing conditions are fairly good, no where as good as qld conditions tho, doesnt get no where near as hot.

be very carefull, i would post seeds/clones to tas b4 u think about taking them over on plane or ferry, they search ya spastically when going into TAS...well htey were the words of my grandparents wo are wingers but i wouldnt risk it.

a good idea would to be to go into yahoo chat and go into the pot revolution, there are a few tas growers in there usually that can give u the info straight away (if they are in there) or u can wait a day or so and a tas grower will give u the info on here

We have a lot of variety in weather and grow conditions across Tas, the soil is usually pretty good with minimal work and there are normally plenty of rivers and creeks around, I think robbieGS has had more experience with Tas bush growing than I have so he may be more help.

Never even thought of mailing stuff there first, good idea though since i have heard they are pretty thorough with searches. The main issue with growing I thought would be the cold, but then again people keep saying you can grow mj anywhere... so I guess the main issue would be freezin my tropical ass off down there ::D: hehe

MJ loves the cold, but frosts are what cause most problems,

I wopuld do a grow inside first, whilst you check out a good outdoors spot,

Iam in Brisbane and been looking for somewhere outdoors for a couple of months now, but now I got to find a place.
