hey again...

Recommended Posts

hi guys, i'll apologise in advance if this is in the wrong section, but i figured wat better place to ask simple questions than in the newbie section?

im from melb, and thanks to this site im piecing together my first indoor setup, my question is:

is it a good idea to invest in some quality seed/clones for my first indoor grow or should i "practice" on some less definate shit i have lying around?

if its a good investment, can anyone suggest some good strains for a chilly hillbilly region - yes i'll be monitoring temps etc but rather have something pretty sturdy so i dont need to make my bedroom into a bloody incubator!

quick ps - does anyone have comments on outdoor crops from the northern nsw coastal area out towards terrania crk? coz i got a few oz last year while i was visitin and could probly get some seeds easy?

cheers again guys, this site is ace.

Nah man dont fuck around buying seeds just yet till u have some practice under your belt in growing indoors....

Get some nice clones...grow em...clone em yourself...this is a necessity if you want to be self sufficient...once you master growing, cloning, flowering, big yields and have a little extra dosh put away by all means buy some seeds...and lots of em cause its quite addictive!!!! and practice germinating them, best methods to germ em..growing sexing etc....it is fun but I dont find when you first start and really wanna get some bud FAST that growing from seed is the way to go...

I agree with the above. If your just starting out - clones are the way to go. With bag seed you never know what you'll get. Hermis are quite common especially if the bag seeds old. its a bitch to spend all that time and effort only to be rewarded with hermi's or weak plants.

BY purchasing clones from a reputable source, you know you've got females you know what strain it is, and you should hav e a strong plant to start with.

Don't forget inside you'll have all manner of elctrical shit going eg lights, pumps, fans, and these cost money to run, so you'll want some return. In 15 odd years of growing I have only been successfullgrown twice with bag seed. Start with 2 -4 clones, If you run into problems, theres heaps of help here

Is,nt blueberry a strain which likes the cold?

:D

if you are getting clones, make sure you have your setup properly set up and running before you order. and I would get the thumbs up that you are right to go and got everything you need from an experienced grower you know or someone here. just so you don't fork out $$ for clones only to miss something or start off on the wrong foot and waste your money.
