What is the temperature in there? If you don't have a thermometer can you hold your hand under the light at plant height without it feeling too hot? What kind of ventilation are you running? How big is your area? The more info you give us the more we can help, a photo or two would be great.

i have my fans running at all times. and i have the hps a lot higher then my other lights were. it has to be the heat. its around 105 degrees. i know thats way to hot. but i cant seem to bring the temp down. its only 2 plants. one of them is nches taller then the other and the top of that one wilted. its only the top leaves that are wilting... i have it running 12/12 7pm-7am. it is a small space. probably too small. its inside one of those grow closets. the metal ones that look like a tool shed thing you would put in your garage...is the 600w hps putting off way too much heat? and the light i got didnt come with a lense. does that make a major difference? its only one 600w hps about 8n inches from the tops of the taller plant. im raising it as high as i can get it but thats only an extra 3 inches... i have one built into the cabnit blowing directly on the light. and one more fan blowing twords that little fan .. and one more on the floor just to have air moving in the room. its a small room (big closet) with the cabnit in it..... ugh i dont want these plants getting stressed or dying.. the middle and bottom and lower top is fine.. its just the tips.. thanks for all your advice so far.. the dimensions of the room are 9X8.. and im sure u know what kind of grow closet im talking about. its one of those tan metal ones....

sounds like you dont have much room to raise the light right and theyre first week in flower ? are the leaves at the top of the plant wilting or the whole plant .... ? if need be .... supercrop the fuck out of them..... (depending on how large they are)..... you can supercrop up to 3 weeks or so into flower... (believe it or not)... if leaves at the top of the plant are predominantly affected supercrop em back a foot if possible .... super crop branches so that from a birds-eye top-down view the plant is a round bush with colas on the outside of the plant supercropped outwards (around the plant in a circular fashion so that you mean use of the light ...... ..... Seaweed concentrates and B-group vitamins also assist plants with heat stress .....

peace n pot.

im adding a portable air conditioner. its just the tops of the plant. the shorter one is okay. a tiny bit wilted at the top. but the taller one is really wilted at the top. and some of the leaves have white spots on them from the heat im assuming? i appreciate everyone trying to help me out. there in the dark time now so i cant open it up so tomorow ill add photos so you can see what im talking about. .. the light is about 14 inches from the smaller plant and 10 from the taller one. i raised it as high as i could. but its not much better.. its just super hot... does not having a lens on the light make a huge difference? ... and thanks a lot i really appreciate everyone trying to help out..
