yes doesnt seem to turn on! i thought i should just flicker on but it doesnt kinda pissing me off i just went to screw with it a bit more nada doesnt seem to be working i mounted it n all and didnt check it bad mistake!

Did you get it new or from somewhere like ebay? What does the label on the ballast rate it as and is it the same type (HPS, MH, MV, etc) and wattage as the globe?

yes i bought it from there it says 240v 400w MH i got it all doesnt seem to turn on! maybe ill try n take it outta my grow room and test on a whole nothing place of the house im not sure hope this damn thing works! if anyone finds anything out or knows why its not turning on please post! or pm me.

anyone willing to help me out? could it be i had too many things plugged into the socket? i was trying the one my fish tanks shit was all plugged to could that of not gave it enough power or something?

your socket either works, or it doesn't. plug something else into the socket, if it turns on the problem is not your socket.

 

do you have a bulb screwed into your light fitting? you need a light bulb to make light.

How old is the globe? Does the ballast make any noise when you plug it in? Does the light system give any indication at all that it is getting power?

 

The fault is most likely in the light system and not your power point, check your leads for damage or loose connections, the globe could be stuffed or damaged in transport.

it had a buncha stuffing in the package so i doubt that one but it doesnt make any sign of power! i have no ideas on what this problem is i have all my fish tank shit plugged into this outlet so cant be that hmm wtfux is up with this damn thing!

 

ill take some pictures of the whole thing tomorrow or somethin maybe someone can help then
