flushing plants before picking

do i need to flush my plants with ph adjusted water or just feed them as normal ?

Yeah you will need to flush them with pH adjusted water for at least a week (may vary depending on the medium). You will be glad you flushed them. What medium are you growing in?

In short, it is a must to obtain a nice smooth smoke. It removes any chemical build up in the plant

Naycha is correct at about a week depending on your medium, I use perlite and can get away with 4-5 days of flush, changing the water daily.

But it is a must.

PH isn't so important once flushing, and flushing is more about taste. gets all the excess nutrients stored in the plant and leaves out.

 

You want to give her plain water until most of the large fan leaves are a pale yellow, usually somewhere between 7-14days for a lot of strains.

 

The yellowing can depend on how heavy you have fed the plant up till flushing point, if the leaves are a really really dark green colour, it may not yellow at all, but most do if given plain water for long enough.

im using coco as my medium how long do you think i need to flush them.thanks for all the help people

i like the crackle and shithouse taste of unflushed pot ......makes all the time growing worth it ....hahah I have used a baught flush mix ,some pineapple one, added the pineapple flavour to an extent but still had the crackle ..... i use plain rain water for last 5-7 days depending on how I feel ...... I wish I was flushing some dope right now ...with coco I like to dump the tank and pour 3 times the volume of the pot holding the coco through each pot then dump tank again and then fill the tank up with nice water and flush for 5-7 days
