Information on growing in Australia

Hi, im very new to this forum. Ive just got some questions that have been haggling at me. Look, the reason ive come here to ask is because every website with the information im looking for is all about American growing seasons and shit. Quite frankly im sick of reading about america.

 

what i would like to know is what is the best time for me to grow outdoors in queensland. And what is the most effective way to go about doing this. Any feedback wuld be greatly appreciated.

Early spring, as soon as it starts to warm up. People say to plant at the beginning of spring and harvest on fathers day. Good luck and Happy Growing!

Get some seeds, that's the first step.

 

Once you have the seeds buy a grow light, a grow tent, nutrients, medium + pots. It's a steep learning curve but no one grows perfect plants the first time, focus on just getting it up and running!

Sprout your seeds mid october plant them at the beginning of November and harvest time is usually around mid April beginning of May, in saying that it will depend on the strain.

Where I am things are a little strange, one guy I know has roughly 100+ growing at all different stages(20 or so germinated at a time about 3 weeks apart sinceJuly) and he has had a fair few plants go into flower and even finish in the last month or two. I guess the further north you go the larger growing window you are able to utilise.(As always genetics play a big part, there are no imported strains going around here so that might make a big difference.)

 

TigerPaul is right with using those months as a guideline though, that's what I started with.
