Im putting a seed into its initial pot this weekend to transplant outdoors for this season as I havent smoked decent bush for ages [i have 1 clone on the way for outdoors also and have a crappy plant outside already so I should get a female from one of them]. Welcome to my outdoor grow space - Ill put pics of the grow on here if everything goes well.

Im wondering when the best time to transplant would be in relation to plant size [1M at most]? ;)

wel after putting a clone out there dont u think u will have atleast a female???

but i would recommend that u only move the plants as few times as possible...i try to put a seed in a starter pot that will last 2-3 weeks then i transplant to the grow spot. The only reason i move the plants once is because i dont wanna have my babies stressing out from moving all over the place...

I havent sexed the indoor plant I took the clone from yet so it still could be male.

I usually pot from a 15cm [6"] pot into the ground and the plant is about 6" then but I am thinking about putting the plant Im growing indoors outside instead if its going to be better than a smaller clone. ;)

I actually have a female already but its not going to produce much bud - Ill probably get a good session out of it as its 4" and making 4 sticky buds after being outside for 2 weeks [i was wondering why it stopped growing - doh].

I want to have something growing in the next few weeks as its prime time for planting here so when does an experienced outdoor grower transplant? [dont say dont transplant as I cant be bothered to start growing a root system outdoors - its not easy].

3 more seeds have been started from the same bag so Ill be growing another female of a primo strain soon. B)

I put another plant outdoors today and also bought myself some nutrient aditives [urea and potash], citrus food [it was cheap], peat moss and sphagnum moss plus a few polystyrene cups and 6" pots. Since the plants outside are both crappy in their own way [both bonsai I think - heh] Im not hoping for much from them - I want either a good smoke or some good seeds.

My outdoor shrub [ill call it this from now on] got elongated stems this week so its now 1' x 1'. Its looking very healthy up the top but it dropped a lot of lower leaves and branches from the transplant. :)

Hey Wilderbud if it is looking healthy up top the odds are it will be ok it just prob looking a bit droopy from the transplant but should pick up in the next few days, once u plant a plant i likes to be were it is, when u move a mj plant or i shoud say transplant it will stress them out but if thay are not too over stressed thay will kick back on very soon.

I finally see pistils on the bushy plant so Im going to be growing some bud this year afterall. :D

The plant is about 1' x 1' and has about 15 tips which have elongated stems for the last 6". This is my nutmeg bud - w00t! 2 clones are inside and were prepared with Clonex about 3 days ago.

Mmmm, I can see tiny buds starting to form now and the plant is producing resin now. I should get at least an ounce of it of by the looks of things so it should get me through till the nice buds fill out [too bad I have to score till this plant dries - Id be drying it by now if it wasnt for the gnats grr]. Buds for the holidays anyway - w00t!

Ill get a picture in the next two weeks at least. I have a polaroid camera and a flatbed scanner so I can use those instead of needing a digicam [which I cant afford ATM]. I should get an ounce of it of by the looks of things.

I cant wait to see how the roots look - the smoke should be OK too. :)

Some buds growing. lol

I pulled the plant up as I didnt like where I had it. Half of the roots were chopped off and I put it in fresh peat + vermiculite in its original pot - heh. Its still an outdoor plant but its getting full sun and fresh PH adjusted nutrient and water at any time. :P
