Bugga all sun

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Well almost all my plants are out drying, have made butter, curing or waiting for the last 2more weeks to get the most out of them.

I have 1 more plant that is around 4feet wide and 7ft tall. Problem is there has been bugga all sun and now that the sun has moved positions, it only gets around 2hours a day (when the sun is actually out) of good warmth and light. It's in very good health though and is budding. The buds are taking forever to grow though, and i was wondering when i pull my topiary plant out (which cops sun almost all day) when the sun is around, Is it safe to move the plant that recieves hardly any, into this spot? It is getting colder by the day and night here in qld and although i have stacks of medication, it would be a shame to lose this guy, when the possibilities of it producing so much more would be nice (no need to grow next year then).

Also what are the symptoms of a plant dying of old age? Do the fan leaves start to fall off first? Because one of the other plants i have, the pistils are still bright white and the buds are growing larger and stronger by the day, the size of baseball bats but all the fan leaves are falling off???

Thanks for the info again.

G'day devil.

If your large plant is in soil, don't even think of transplanting it, it will die for sure, at that size. It sounds like your elderly plant is starting to peg out, some good pics would help make a recomendation, but at this time of year, the symptoms you describe usually mean the end is nigh. As far as the 7ft plant goes, different strains take a different amount of time to mature, stick with it. By the way it was -2c when I got up at 0700 on Tuesday, with a snow white frost.:guitar: :guitar: :guitar:
