Farmers have to take extreme methods to make decent profits. because you city fuckers wont do the right thing and pay attention to party policies involving rural areas. Now maybe some of the sceptical members may understand what these protests are really about. It's not that they use chicken, although I'm sure some serious vegans would dispute humanities omnivorality, (is that a word? ) it's more about the way the chickens are treated and farmed.

 

Farming is one thing, brutal mass reproduction in unbelievably cruel conditions of a living, feeling, thinking creature is another.

 

Look, this isn't really the right place, nor the right forum, but yeah, it's important that people know where their food comes from. It's a sad fact that most of western society has absolutely no idea what goes into making that chicken strip, or the next hamburger. But the more you teach people, the more they can learn and demand change.

We are totally different creature to plants ..so we cannot relate to them in any way..bar look at them.. and understand them on a physcial level...but on an emotional/spiritual level we are on another plane..

Because we can not percieve a creatures "inherent fundamental existance experience" does not mean it isnt happening.

I knew a guy who used to have this chicken, and she produced these sad eggs and he used to swear at the chicken and throw the eggs at the chookhouse. "Fucking chook! I can't eat these fucking eggs!" he also used to ram the chookhouse with his truck when he was drunk late at night. Its funnier than it sounds. I heard he threw the chook off a bridge when he moved, thats not so funny I guess.
