On a more serious note Ive found the nutritfield coco to be finer and dustier then the canna. Better for having to water less often but more prone too overwatering and lack of oxygen.

Nutrifiield on the left and Canna on the right are typical of the bags Ive bought over recent times.

I'l be paying paying the extra for the canna for the time being.

I used the A and B grow way back and had no problems with it.

I'm With Rat. I had better grows with shittier genetics and poor growing knowledge when using Canna Coco.

I'm using Nutrifield at the moment, but I will be going back to the more spongy, consistent, darker Canna Product.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Meh i can get same harvests between cana and nutrifield bags and bunnings coco bricks, only reason i dont use the 2 bux bunnings brix is cause im lazy n they need a flush before use.

Otherwise coco is coco, treat ya plants the same no matter what brand ya buy :)

Im sure you can get the same yields with either canna or Nutrifiield . The only reason Im using canna is that i only clone with coco these days and the extra$$ of one bag every so often dosnt hurt. The good thing about both of these brands if they've been buffered at 6.0 for the canna and 5.7 Nutrifield.

As for brick coco I've never had anything but issues.

Have you used brick coco PPG?

I am with ppg on the bricks. They do work but its a he'll of a job to rinse and buffer. My time is worth more than the savings so I only use H&G coco. If u have issues with compressed brick coco u never cleaned or buffered it right, its a hard job.

Cleaned yes buffered no.

I was using general hydroponics Cototek in brick form. For the life of me I couldnt budge the coir coco ph down from 7 and it was a nightmare.

So how do you buffer brick coco like that?

Lots of tips on how to buffer from the yank sites. So so many are cheapskates over there and will spend the time and have recipes that work. Maybe some live far from shops too..... They get hydro supplies from walmart. I can't see how It can be any cheaper for them..... taking days to buffer ect, multiple times. Letting it dry out and doing it again..... Fark that.
