i know peeps first hand who`ve grown MORE than 200 for preservation and medical purposes ... and if it wasnt for those people, half of australia wouldnt have smoked some of the chronic that they have .....

Hey guys I know the labeling of growers as ‘commercial’ or ‘personal’ can be a touchy subject for some people, especially when the only facts known about it are in a media report, but please try and keep it civil…

Many people think the exact same about you too though deamon for growing your own? I’m also guessing you’ve had commercial numbers of plants growing? What makes him a criminal yet your not? Where is the crime other than he stole power?

 

I agree on the face of the media article (and everyone knows how they twist and exadurate things ) that he sounds like someone cash cropping but personally if he wasn’t using PGR’s or other unsafe growing methods isn’t it prohibition is the problem? If it wasn’t for prohibition he either wouldn’t be cash cropping or he would be running his business legitimately and paying tax on the profits.

 

If you grow 1 cannabis plant or 10,000 cannabis plants you are a cannabis grower that’s the truth of it. Divide and conquer at all their peril.

People like this guy who got caught put other peoples lives at risk (because stealing power can't be done without great risk) and adds to the black market (violence, theft, etc.) and as such make the hobby growers look like criminals because they all think everyone does the same thing.

I dont think steeling power adds to the cannabis black market at all, thats a dodgy thing the person who was growing did him self, how does a ripper know if he has bypassed his power meter? Making no sense

Well be angry about the power stealing not the growing or the plant numbers

Be angry at prohibition for creating the black market in the first place.

Don't label him just because he had 200 plants because as others have pointed out that's irrelevant in reality. 200 plants doesn't automattically = cash cropper.

Do you know what a commercial number under the law is and that if you have supplied any or not is irrelevant as it's deemed to be for supply based on the numbers?

Quite easy to tap into the power before it hits ya meter any sparky can do it, but is very easy to get busted cause of the elecy company knows how much is being used but its not getting paid for, thats when ya see the elecy company investigating theft.

It's not fair to assume that everyone who has 200 plants is doing it for profit.. Maybe a communal grow, a medi grow, or whatever.. Besides, if there weren't people growing for profit a lot of others wouldn't be able to get their meds or recreation.. Me for one..

But stealing electricity?? What a dumb arse thief

 

 

Totally agree, assume nothing without all the facts and the article said bugger all. Maybe he grew so many to make hash or (drool) oil where you need a lot to make a little or maybe he is like this dude......

I dream of the day where we can all grow 200 plants if we want. We can share it with everyone we know and help them not have to use the Black Market,

so one day they can afford to grow their own and in turn pass on the same favor to another person and so on.

 

I dream of the day where someone skilled enough to manage a 200 plant crop is seen as a leader in their field.

 

I believe those who have mastered the skill of growing large crops will be at the forefront of cannabis business when we as a nation finally stop persecuting those who make the choice

to use marijuana, as has been done in other forward thinking Nations.

 

I fear that my dreams and beliefs may never amount to anything in a democracy ruled by close minded people, who if you ask me must be getting something thrown their way, if they honestly can`t see that the

marijuana laws in this country do a lot more harm than good.
