There is virtually zero medical marijuana movement in Australia. Coupled with the fact he was stealing electricity, it's realistic of me to assume it was for profit and not for 'the good of the community'.

 

Everyone who needs/wants it can grow it themselves. It's not hard and doesn't take much.

 

 

And you know this for fact?? No communal grows either?? I would be more careful of making "realistic assumptions" as they usually aren't as realistic as you may suppose when faced with facts.. Not saying this is the case.. But as i don't have all the facts i don't think i can make any assumptions..

 

I dont agree with theft of electriity or anything else for that matter, but i don't make assumptions, realistic or otherwise as to why people are doing whatever they're doing.. Especially with grows..

 

I also think if he is growing and supplying those that can't for many reasons grow their own ie: a single parent who may like an occasional smoke when the children go to their grans and not want to grow in their home and have no access to a car to do an outdoor guerilla, someone bedridden through illness, a person who lives at home and looks after their sick old parents who won't let them grow in their home... you see where i'm going with this??? There are many people who can't grow for so many different reasons. Whoever wants Cannabis, if they're over 18, should be able to get it from somewhere legal but they can't so that leaves the door open for commercial growers.... Who are providing a legitimate business to people the government is too bloody stupid to take davantage of..

Again i do not condone theft, but please don't be so close minded if you grow and or smoke.. Imagine if you couldn't tomorrow

my realistic assumption is that if he could`nt grow tomorrow, he`d be looking to score off someone who grows for a profit

 

although this is not the case in this situation, i just want to point out that digging and prepping holes, carting water and waiting for 6-7 months till harvest is NOT easy .... especially when ya gotta be extra stealth.

Based on the risks of not only growing 200 plants, but also stealing electricity, do you honestly believe he's doing it to preserve a bunch of strains or grow for a medical marijuana group/other? Highly-unfucking-likely.

As I said, I don't have an issue with people growing their own - that's why I'm here.

 

However, commercial grows of the above size do nothing for the cannabis legalisation cause because anyone with two brain cells to rub together can quickly work out he is a criminal. Criminal activity breads criminal activity. That ain't the sort of community I'm interested in living in.
