breath + drug test

Recommended Posts

g'day; imo, if they do enact the drug testing then they will have to have a minimum prescribed amount to charge you.

what is the minimum% concentration of THC that you can be charged for?

what about other drugs, wether prescribed or illicit?

THC can remain in your system for more than 30 days after having last smoke.heavy smokers may take longer to burn off the THC.

And heavy smokers may actually be affected less by differing amounts... so one % level in a persons saliva isn't going to tell you if they're stoned or affected.

There's some studies which actually point to lower accident rates amongst those who smoke pot anyway... whether under the influence you personally are a better driver, and whether society is willing to put up with "drug driving" if it's shown to be a significant cause of accidents is yet to be seen. Heck, I know that driving under the influence of any drugs should be banned, but I'd wager a heck of a lot more people walk out of their homes on valium and other prescriptive drugs which would severely impair their driving abilities every day...

And I'd make a fair wager that the prescription drug users of that type are far more likely to cause accidents too.

It's all bluf and bullshit.... although I must admit that if it could be done quicker, and with a greater accuracy and scientific backing behind limits, it could be a first step to legalisation. After all, if we're accepting that it exists in the population to a greater extent than society generally does now, then that's a good thing, isn't it? Provided the laws are enacted in the right vein, and to the right purpose, all the power to em. Yet to see that tho, and I doubt it will be all I'd hope for... but hey... it's a long and bumpy road we have to take in order to re-legalise our recreational and medicinal drug of choice... one that we have to take should that dream become real.

I'm rambling, aren't I? ;) I'll shut up now. ;)

you'd think so, but since when are laws relating to MJ based on logic?

I tend to think if these roadside tests come in stoners are going to get it up the arse.
