Outdoor Guerilla

Recommended Posts

I'm am planning my first outdoor guerilla grow this summer.

Living in southern Victoria, what would be some recommended strains that will grow large without too much fuss, and hopefully wont rot at the end of it all?

I've seen some monsters in nnsw but what about us cooler vics?

Mullumbimby madness... But I doubt you'll get your hands on a seed/cut unless you know someone...

Failing that Old Mother Sativa...

lol, there are SO many options, so many answers to your question... Depends on lots of things man.

If I may offer you some advice? Go have a look at our site sponsors, amnesiaseeds.com or demonseeds.com and you'll be able to select a plant suitable for your needs.

hey mate,

good to hear your keen to get out into the great outdoors for some guerilla gardening

For a first timer best advise i can give is choose a skunk strain. As many say a skunk strain is very newbie friendly and can grow extremly well even between a crack in the pavement in your driveway. They have excellent vigour, strong thick stems to cope against the strong heavy wind's that us vic folk have to deal with which can demolish a plant at times. Ive had great success with Skunk #1, and have had mates grown 10ft Early Skunks. Although being indica dominant mold is allways an issue if not attended to late in flower. Best to keep a close eye on them when nearing harvest.

Any indica dominant strain will grow well here in vic, that being said so will a sativa dominant strain - but IMO the weather turns to shit late in the vic outdoor season (late april-may-june) which can have a heavy impact on the resulting harvest of a sati dom strain, where as the Indica dom will flower abit earlier before the weather starts to play up...

Best of luck mate, you'll be quite satisfied if you choose a skunk strain for beginner purposes.

Enjoy :bongon:

G'day mjfish.

I'm down in your neck of the woods and I've found that, as AHTB said, Sativa strains will do ok here. I had some over 7ft this last season. I'm going to try some Indica, outdoors, this Spring. If you have some well established seedlings, 4-6 sets of leaves, maybe grow some of both strain, ready by around Melbourne Cup time and you should be way in front. I got my Indica seed from Amnesia seeds and had them in my hand 8 days after I made the order. Make sure you use stealth packing and you should be sweet. If you have a place picked to grow in then you should be working up the soil in preparation for planting. Digging in lots of manure, compost, blood and bone, lime, straw and any other organic matter you can find to give the soil a flying start. Get some Go-Go Juice and use it according to the directions, it's a plant pro-biotic that puts all sorts of enzymes and good bacteria into the soil, magic stuff. I've been at my block since March/April. Remember, Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance.:guitar: :guitar: :guitar:

Nirvana's Pure Power Plant. Easy to maintain outdoors. Will grow pretty big if not tied down or a screen put over it. Good smoke as well.

G´day everyone,

It´s the first post on the forum I place. The vision and goals I have is to obtain so much knowledge as possible about this marvelous plant, and its nature to humans and capabilities for the world.

I come from Amsterdam where many things are possible.

Greetings, Mr.Ice

PS: Is there a simulationprogram where you can input all the data such as: climate conditions, type of plant, geographical location, soil and nutricians adds, ect. After inputting all the data in program, so it simuluate and generate digital results before growing? Any suggestions?

Do you know what kind of sort seed I need to start with if I want to do some outdoor growing in W.A. ?

Ciao
