G'day GH.

After 30 years + of growing outdoor, if you think I don't know the difference between growth and stretch, you are dreaming. Opinions are like arseholes everyones got one. And yours doesn't count.

G'day iatd.

I have NOT changed a thing, same lights, nutes, fans. Only thing I did add was a cooltube, last week.

Go check my last post and see what is there. Might surprise some, might elate others.I would gladly do a comparitive grow, if I had the where withall to set up 2 complete systems, but I'm not a commercial grower, I'm a pensioner. Maybe one of these people, with all the skills, equipment and finance, can assist here. Set up a small grow, maybe a dozen plants or so, to get a real idea as to the validity of the system. As for me I'm sticking with it.So keep me out of this shit, I'm no longer involved. Do it or don't, I don't give a flying fuck.

Whether we think this experiment will or wont work does not deserve any criticism from the on lookers.

If people did not think outside the box we would be still in the dark ages.

I suggest that instead of taking a high and almighty stand we wait for the conclusion.

Please keep this thread on track.

Hey Vrod

If you bought good Genetics from a reputable seed bank.

And they recommend the strain for indoor growth.

Its likely the plants parents for many many generations have been running on the 18/6 & 12/12 light scheme.

So It may be possible they have evolved to that type of lighting setup any way? :scratchin:

I know my plants veg like a they are on steroids using 18/6

G'day Cyclone, I have always used ADWC, there is always exceptional growth, but with the 12-1 & CFL the leaves are fuckin huge & short spacing between nodes, so far there has not been any detrimental effects just great growth. I am still undecided about the flowering side of things.

I run my lights from 2pm-10am in veg, 4hrs sleep. in flower its 7pm-7am. There for I am always in off peak. Off peak being 10pm-7am. It is also good for keeping my temps down. Fans run 24/7.

Hey JJ, don't quite understand what you mean. only part of your grow is in that zone. Where I am the off peak is from 8pm to 4pm - 18hrs, but that is through a relay the same as the hot water, so from what I understand it can drop out at any time.

Sorry Vrod. At the start of the grow seed to veg I give them 20hrs of light to kick start them along for a few weeks. Then drop down to 18hrs light for a few weeks before flower. Then 12hrs light for flower. I just like to give them a bit more light when they are young.

I just changed my lights to 18/6 on the weekend as I only have a few more weeks left in veg.
