• Joseph R. Pietri, In 1 year I will have changed the way peeps grow cannabis indoors and out

No way Dutch can stop 12-1 now, it's being taught on every continent and every country where cannabis is grown indoors.

12-1 information being blocked somehow on google. It's your canna duty to pay forward 12-1, Industry pulling out stops to block this information so post everywhere you can peeps.

• 12-1 threatens Dutch Fraud, Rosenthal, Cervantes, High Times with the truth, that they suppress this valuable information inorder to have you spend more grow less

sounds more like an April Fools Day joke that Joe Pietri has kept alive on life-support

Hey Vrod =), How about a grow diary V-rod with pictures, so we can make up our own mind based on a real grow, not stuff posted on the net.

If it works, I'm all for it, but not until I see a grow on this site using it, I don't believe half the hype on the net. And neither should you.

The dutch have always been open and given information freely about growing Cannabis, and in all these years of growing, nobody has stumbled across this method? Then two "College" kids magically find the secret answer to growing? Not even horticultural growers have discovered it, after all their years of research outside of the field of Cannabis growing?

I am sceptical, because it pays to be.

I notice a few of the American Med growers having a dig at the dutch lately, reakon their weed is shit, that they hide information, blah, blah blah. It's all crap, the dutch and their breeding programs have provided a lot of the ground work and strains for these jokers to use to cross their own strains, and claim them as their own.

So unless they started from Landrace strains and bred out their own gene pools , I would say a lot of their stock is FULL of dutch bred genes.

And no, I'm not dutch, but I do respect them immensely for the work they have put into Cannabis over the years, unlike some.........

Show me da Money...........

Peace. gh72.

OK

I can understand your excitement, I'm going to give it a try. my first grow only 4 weeks from seed, went from 18/6 - 24 hours and have just been decreasing the days again , i am just trying to get a feel for what works best for me using 2 x 130w 6500k CFLs in my 710mmX460mm closet.

I dont see why outside of the rule 12day 12 night for flower anything over 12 hours in a 24 cycle would be a problem, and as there is no proof to 24hr total light or other methods being more successful i dont see why a 12 - 5 - 2 - 5 wouldn't be more or as successful,

thats what ill try so as the light is on for at least 2 hours when it fires up

Can u explain where i missed about decreasing light cycle in flowering and why it might be beneficial?

It's 12-5.5-1-5.5 then repeat.

In the flowering stage, never use 12-12, start your flowering period at 11 hours on 13 hours off. When your are growing outdoors each day you get less and less sun light, you should copy the way the sun acts naturally in your indoor grow. So first 2 weeks of flower you go 11 on 13 off, the next 2 weeks you go down to 10.5 on 13.5 off, next 2 weeks 10 on 14 off, next two weeks 9.5 on 14.5 off and the last weeks of flower you should be at 9 hours on and 15 hours off. You’ll get bigger and better buds by copying the way the sun light works on cannabis outdoors.

I have started a grow diary on this. "12-1 The Theory" Will be takin flak there.

+1 TO GH's comment. Keep us posted on how your well your vegeative growth performs. Until then would be good if you would stop advocating it as a tried and true method.

Who are you to tell me to stop advocating this. How would you know one way or another. Can you show us something thats contradictory to this theory. As far as I am concerned it is a tried and true method, there is enough proof out there. And I,m watching it happen before my eye's.

How does the more constant switching of the lights effect their operating life? In my experience as a sparky with industrial highbay (HID) lighting this is a sure way to destroy contol gear and globes....also timers if you are switching more than 2 or 3 lights off the same timer.

Not bagging out the idea mate just after some more info... :bongon:

Well with timers good enough for CFL cost like 2 for $10 and CFL,s aren't costly. So for me there is no issue with vegging and the HPS on a 11-13 reducing dowdown to 9hrs there is no extra switching involved, just resetting the timer every 2 weeks.
