how to stop light leaking under door

Recommended Posts

I live in a pretty old place and the door to my room is quite uneven.

I have tried putting rubber seals around the door, but to actually stop light from getting out it makes it virtually impossible to shut the door... I can put up with that though.. the real problem is under the door. it's an uneven tiled surface and I havn't been able to find anything that will seal it completely...

:wallbash: I've thought about haging a blanket on the insude of the door but it may make it a bit hard to open.... anyone got any suggestions :wallbash: :ack:

This is more about stealth than about light leak having an effect on budding.. although that will be an issue in the near future

Heya mate!

I have found these rolling door seals to be quite effective! simpy screw to the inside of the door, doesn't restrict movement..... available at bunnings.

draft snake?

real men call them a door sausage...

but I think he needs something that will move with the door...

personally I have a second, airlock type area between the door and the actual grow to catch light leaks and muffle sound, as well as keep dirt/dust/bugs out of the actual grow with an extra layer

so the main door need not be 100% light tight
