hey boys hope everyone is having a good smoke..so i have a grow space of 2m high by 2.4m long by1.2m wide was thinking of putting 2x 1000 watters in there. on the cannaversity calculator it says the max should be 1860 watt with c02 being needed would it be possible to do it without the c02 ? has anyone had sucess with this type of setup? and im guessing it would have to be cooltubed ,correct?

not a expert here but I'm sure you would have to run cooltubes that amount of watts would surely create some heat in a area that size

IMO if ya gunna go hardcore on the lights go hardcore on fans and CO2. Make it real pro like.

Absolute basics, 2 600s would do nicely, with good ventilation...

 

Anything more requires a bit of info as to your setup

Pro costs heaps and sure co2 would be nice but not a must

I'm 3x3x3m with 2400w and no co2

I do (now) have excellent airflow and although some ppl have the fans on timers, mine are on constantly

So the exchange of air and availability of co2 is good. Could it be improved? definitley but I'm not complaining with the results

At one point I tried a gas heater flue that gives off co2 near my intake zone but didn't see any marked improvements

grow calculator is just a guide and a good 1 at that.....id be going 3x 600s over the 2 x 1000s in that space but either way its gona work kick ass

 

If u have good intake and exhaust and a few osculating fans blowing over the canopy u will not need cooltubes... i have em cause in summer chances u will need to drop ya temps down

I would agree with ppg, 3 x 600w would rock, but depending on your location you will prolly have to cool tube them.

 

CO2 will require the whole space to be airtight, and can be a real pain in the ass to obtain.

 

Ventilation would be a 150mm centri for the cooltubes and at least a 250mm centri for the room exhaust.

thanks heaps for the replys guys ..JAIKAI some more info just running i 150mm centrifungal with just a passive intake growing style is satalite with clayballs and just gunna have a occilating fan in there to keep there air moving would defs cooltube it though so do u think it would be possible or just go with the 3 600s as suggested
