First Grow, A few questions

Gday all, i,ll be starting my first grow very soon, as soon as i have everything setup and i have a few questions. I,m sure youve prob heard em all but for so be patient with me!!

Firstly, ive decided to use the GH nutrients, flora micro and flora bloom only, according to the lucas technique, any advice for or against there? i have setup up a fairly simple bubbleponic type system, have a 600W hps light, grow tent and fans etc. at the moment i,m just waiting for seeds, which brings me to my next question, ive ordered them to be sent to my address, how worried should i be that this was a stupid move?

And last question for now, i,m sure i,ll have a few more coming, s there any way of making a grow in wa a legal grow in the eyes of the law if it is done hydroponically, i.e is two hydro plants o.k?

Getting them sent to ya grow addy is a big risk n usually a big no no....but if ya have no choice ya have no choice...just hope the cops dont wait few months than visit ya

 

And no u cannot make it a legal grow

might be a good idea to hide all equipment untill seed arrives , best be squeeky clean ...

What i,m thinking is i,ll wait till the seeds turn up then wait a while till i do a grow. Just run a practice on some tomatoes or something. If no one comes knocking on my door after a few months i should be right hey? Fingers crossed anyway. On the topic of seeds getting people into trouble, are there any stories of this happening before? Just so i know if ive got something to be paranoid about?

Heya Goose, I probably be more worried about givin away my grow with silly stuff , like putting what suburb you live in on your profile. Just a thought .

there is one member who got busted as a result of having seeds sent to his addy

and there`s another member who got busted because he was too cocky and baught far too much hydro equipment online

 

that said, i think you`ll find that both fellas will say its worth the risk .... providing ya dont do what they did

 

i would listen to hopper and ev`s handy advise and fly under the radar

Sounds like you gotta plan there. A few of us here have done some reading regarding the lucas formula but it hasnt been discussed much on this site yet. Guess its a bit hard too know what difering your npk levels slightly actually does without large controlled expeiments. I figur as long as the nutes are all there in suficient quantity the plants will draw what they need. IM going with the "p" myth for the next run and using a more potassium swayed pk booster 0-1-2 in rough guise. I dont expect too see allot of diference. Life's too short too wory it but then some people collect stamps so each too their own

 

+1 to what they said regarding seed.

Thanks for the responses guys. Really appreciate it. I have still not received seeds or some other things ive ordered through ebay. Definetely think i,ll wait some months before i start a grow. If i can resist!

One more question for yas. Am a bit worried about what msy happen if i did get caught growing the special herb and am wondering if anyone could tell me whats the maximum grow you could undertake and what sort of setup etc that would definetly NOT land you with a criminal conviction? I dont want to risk losing my job or the ability to apply for jobs etc in the future. Paying a fine would be of very little concern for me but how do i make sure thats all i,d get? Once again thanks in advance.
