First Wardrobe Grow

Recommended Posts

This is the first time growing all together and i'm going to try a wardrobe grow. I just have a few questions for now to get me started.

The dimensions of my wardrobe are - Width: 490mm, Length: 1200mm, Height: 1630mm. I am hoping to grow 3 plants in this area.

1. Will a 400watt HPS light be alright for that area? or is that a bit too big and a 250watt will suffice?

2. I was going to completely line the inside with "Astro-Foil". Is it ok to do that?

3. I'm kind of stuck with fans. It is an inbuilt wardrobe with plasterboard walls but the outside is brick so any ideas?

4. From planting the seed to harvesting it at fully grown is there one size of pot i can use?

5. For watering i was going to drill a hole into the brick and plasterboard big enough for a hose to fit through.

After the hose is through the hole and into the wardrobe i was going to use something similar to this My link

At the moment i'm more focussed on getting the wardrobe completely setup and ready before worrying about growing.

Anything i have missed please fill me in on and any help on my questions will be appreciated.

Thanks Delta,

I have done some research on it and looked through many posts. I have not found any information on astro-foil and how much it effects what light i use.

As i said i'm stuck with fans as i need an input and output fan but have no idea on the options i can take. Regarding the pots i am new to growing so do not understand some information

about sizes, i don't want one too small so it can't grow thats why i asked for a universal size. For question 5 simple yes or no and reason why.
