Mr Nice Guy
Depends what medium you are using.... I use coco coir and water when there is only about 10-20% water left (judge by the weight).... Water till water starts comin outta the drain holes in pot. Try give some more info when you ask questions man. Will make it easyier for people to give u better answers.

aussiepothead
actually 1litre is a bit much more like about 600ml and there medium sized pots about 18cm in diameter.
Mr Nice Guy
Are you growing in soil? Next time you water your plants lift the pot to see how heavy it is then to work out how much to water it next time just lift it and when it feels 10-20% of the weight when its watered its time for another watering. What size are your plants and shit?

Tom
If the soil below the surface is dry they need water, if it's damp (slightly moist) they don't, look at the plant and if it looks healthy then it most likely is. As Mr Nice Guy said, we needed to know the basic grow conditions to answer the question.
Mr Nice Guy
You wanna water them when the soil only has about 10-20% moisture left in it... You would be better of taking them outta the pots nad planting them in the ground then having pots planted into the ground....
