Advice on where to buy a new setup

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

I'm new here, I hope I am posting this in the right place. If not, I apologise.

My partner and I are looking to get a 600 watt HPS setup. Just the bulb, ballast and shade. Have an old wardrobe we plan to convert to a grow closet. We had a 400 watt HPS a few years back and that did a good job, but would like to try 600 this time.

We live in a small rural town with no shops that sell this kind of stuff so buying online looks to be the only way to go atm.

I've read good things about these "digital" ballasts, have had a look around the net and come across the "Cool shade Digi 600watt kit" from http://glandorehydro.com/COOL-SHADE-DIGI-600W-KIT.html.

I see this site advertises glandorehydro, has anyone bought from them before, and what is their service like? Do they pack the stuff discreetly? Is this setup any good? Or maybe someone could point me in the direction of a better setup? Budget around $500-600 max.

Thank you for your time =)

Hi Shisk, I have used Glandore, no problems with getting what you want. I did not like the way it arrived, Glandore Hydroponics was clearly visible on the packing slip attached to the top of my package. And the paper work I had to sign had Glandore Hydroponics on it as well. Was not happy, luckily the courier was from another town. Don't think I will use them again.

A 600w in a wardrobe will probably be to hot IMO
