Seasol the poor mans Rhizotonic ?

Recommended Posts

I am in the process of setting up my first growroom, simple wick system with self-watering pots, not real keen on pouring nutes into my plants so i was thinking of using only seasol.. sounds like that shouldnt be a problem then..

Sorry to disappoint, but seasol wont cut it for a grow, the plants do need feeding.

Have got good quality soil, bit of compost and garden mulch in there as well... If seasol wont do the trick on its own what other nutes should i be feeding the plants?

Also has anyone else had any luck growing with the wick system? I have researched in the Cannaversity and various other websites, it seems pretty straight forward and easy to run... KISS - Keep it simple stupid

I used Seasol on my pot-plants and also on my garden plant. Both were outdoors and had no dramas.

I also used juice from my Bokashi bin.

Just thinking about the all-round organic 0 footprint goodness gives me a boner.

Or maybe it's just good mull!

Seasol for the veg stage if that's what you want, then something with more PK and less N, like tomato food, for flowering stage. I think I've used Yates Citrus Food outdoor before, but I usually just pick up something for tomatoes that has the right NPK for flowering.

Old thread resurrection. TreeBoundRat could've answered this, maybe Lou can shed some light on the question!

If Rhizotonic and Seasol are the same.....Do I treat Seasol the same? Same ratio of Seasol to res as Rhizotonic?

100% coco DTW....sometimes recirculating. Have been using Rhizotonic and Rapid Start throughout veg, but both Rhizotonic and Rapid Start, while being fantastic products, are a bit out of my range at the moment. (Slow at work due to wet weather)

I usually add about 2mls per litre to me res..... Can I use Seasol or Maxicrop instead of Rhizotonic/RpdStrt?

Fantastic forum here.
