Perforated Leafs

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I planted 2 feminized autoflowering Il Diavolos about 2 weeks ago and now there is a perforation on the leaves. I added Neem to the water 2 times. I also sprayed them a couple times with it. It might get washed away though as the plants get very wet every night due to high humidity.

Any idea whats causing the holes? One pic shows an orange dot (on the first pic, quite far up to the left of the leaf stem), and on another one i can see a white something.

Hi santos & Welcome to OZ Stoners, I've been looking at your pics back and forth for about 20mins lol (Great pics too btw :good: ) & at first I was thinking perhaps a bad case of brown leaf spot or some other similar mould, however the more I've looked at them the more they appear to be some kind of damage from a bug or caterpillar of some kind, have a good through search over her every so often over the next couple of days and you'll probably be able to catch the culprit in the act. If you do try and grab a pic of him too. ;)

Probably wouldn't hurt to hit it with some kind of anti fungal spray too, just to be safe if your humidity's high

Thanks for the help :)

I have been looking at it for a couple days periodicaly now. As well during day and also at night. All the damage is done do only one of the 2 plants, the other one only has a tiny whole in one leaf and nothing else. I have sprayed them with Propolic, a mild a bio fungizide a couple times and with Neem which i also added to the water 2 times.

The guy in the shop where i bought the seeds said maybe its from the plant itself and i should only give it unfertilized water for a while. To me it looks more like something is munching the leaves away too, but i never catch anything. We do have grasshoppers here, but why does he only return the the same plant every time when there is another one of the same kind, plus 1 Moby Dick and 2 Tutankhamun. Must be a grasshopper with quite distinct taste ;) I hope i can catch the culprit.

the insect stopped focusing on one plant and seems switch a lot now. i think the culprit is about 0.5cm or smaller, kind of roundish and has a very shiny black body. it doesnt fly but it can jump 10 to 20 cm and does so when i show up. any idea what it is or how to spoil his dinner?
