I'm just waiting for the cops to have the power to street walk with sniffer dogs, knock on your door and then just let themselves in... And we KNOW its coming.

Actually hang on.........maybe a Sealed room is the way to go if ya worried about that....no intake...no exhaust...but lots of money to set up.....might be they way to go

dignify my question with an answer? I was under the impression that this forum was for people to share ideas and information and to ask questions, regardless of how ridiculous you feel they may be? I understand it is hard to totally prevent the smell I was merely trying to establish a risk minimisation plan. I feel there is really no need for you to be an ass.

As long as you have a carbon filter and a decent centrifugal fan on your outlet you should be all sweet.

 

If your worried about anything to do with your inlet,

Simply get a computer fan and tape that fucker on the end of it in your grow room,

 

No need to be paranoid about dogs, unless your asking for it.

 

Also, are you using cool tubes with those 1000w fuckers?

Anyways, this thread is about fans etc, not stupid dogs.

I haven't heard of any one being done by dogs,

not unless the cops were already in the house and found a bong, scales and a bag of green.

Sounds like you have no idea how police dogs noses work.

 

Dogs have super sensitive smell - and so they are easily confused by the smell of other dogs, or something like dilute bong water sprayed randomly in yard will cause the police dog to be unreliable.

 

When drugs are found the dog 'sits', so if the police dog starts sniffing around the front like it's mad and sitting down next to innocent patches of garden, the officer is trained enough to know his dog is unreliable in this house and likely wouldn't bother trying to go further than the front yard - there's obviously something confusing the dog and it's far more likely the officer would suspect other dogs or something else in the yard before he suspects you sprayed bong water to throw it off
