Reflector question...

Recommended Posts

Hey, this is probably a stupid question but I have to ask... this reflector I just bought has come with a thin blue plastic lining the underside of the reflector, I'm supposed to take that off right? I'm guessing it is just there to protect the shine until you get it home? But I will wait to see what everyone says, I'm new to indoor stuff.

Thanks

CC is correct here Trickee

Many polished metals come with a plastic film to protect the surface

A mate of mine makes clock faces and all the metal he uses has this plastic so it can be worked with and not scratched.

Peel it off, cos once it melts it sticks and its...............Ohhhhhhhh such fun to try and remove it in that state. :ack:
