How to use Superthrive?

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

I was just wanting to know how everyone uses Superthrive?

I have a bottle here and I got some mix at 1ml/4L. I gave my clones a light spray with it before.... Only used like 100-200ml of the 4L

Just wondering if I can keep spraying my clones with it til they root??

ATM they are only like 50% wet if I just spray them once or twice every few hours I won't burn them will I? Every spray has less then 10mL.

I usually just do a few sprays above so it blows all over the clones (When im misting them with water). This way it always stays around 50% moist which is the best isn't it? Not to wet not to dry? If i just do the same with the superthrive mix will they be good?

Sorry if this post is confusing im a bit wasted atm :D

Any advice is extremly appreciated... Thanks

when you say 50% moist do you mean 50% moisture on the leaves or 50% humidity? because you don't want total humidity otherwise you'll be encouraging mould.

don't know about superthirve, whenever I've seen it in hydro shops its in those tiny little bottles, like 100ml or so. Didn't know you could buy it in 4 litre bottles. You sure you're talking about the right stuff?

 Sorry man

When I say 50% moist I mean that is how moist the RW is.

Says I only got 35% hummidity ATM... Kind of why I prefer to give them a very light spray every few hours.

And I got a 60ml bottle of superthrive I ment i got it mixed at 1ml in 4L of water @ ph6

Basically I just wanto know if i keep spraying them with recommended dosage of superthrive 1ml per 4L of water that I won't over fert them.... As they are getitng pale and that 1 that is yellow(Which I think is from HPS but now its in a nice shadey spot). I just don't wanto waste all this mix of superthrive :D

Cheers

hello mr nice guy:-

here is a vegie growth nutrient chart for 1)new cuttings 2)established cuttings

to make 10 litre mix:-

1)new cuttings

1)mega or super thrive - 2 drops

2)root accelerant - 10 drops

3)oxyplus - 2ml

4)ph 5.8

put 20ml of "new cutting" water on each 40mm RW cube and heat on heat mat for a couple of hours before inserting cutting into hole in cube. Mist every couple of hours lightly with "new cutting" water and only water cube again if it gets really dry (usually every couple of days). Use this water mix until roots appear on bottom of rockwool. After a couple of days reduce misting to once a day. The ph is set at 5.8 when first watering new dry RW then change ph to 6.2 thereafter. Light is from a cold fluro with a grow lux type lamp, light should be on for 16 hours per 24.

2)established cuttings (still on heat pad)

1)superthrive or mega thrive - 3 drops

2)root accelerant - 10 drops

3)oxyplus- 2ml

4)gh micro - 7.5ml

5)gh grow - 8ml

6)gh bloom - 7.5ml

7)budlink - 20ml

8)all rounder -8ml

Water every couple of days with "established cuttings" water. Do not over water the cubes. The plants will double in height and girth within two weeks after roots first appear.

Whole process is two to four weeks, but can be held under the fluro for up to 8 weeks.

This process lets you only pick the very best plants from your nursery and start growing from day 1 once put into there medium.

super thrive is a great product to have in the growers tool box. as far as i know its great for relieving plant stress and is good to use during the vegitative stage. I would not use it in the flower stage other than in an emergency to relieve stress in transplaning etc. (unless u want extra fluffy buds)

i think that u should be using a humidity dome. i would take the humidity up to at least 70%. as has been pointed out ur babies will be vonriable to mould so use h2o2 and/or any other products that u use to avoid this prob

i would try to just mist once a day (with the dome which should mist up). mist the inside of the dome rather then the plants). check 2 c the grow medium stays moiste.
