Clones almost 100% yellow...

Recommended Posts

G'DAY

I Got 6 clones (2 Shisks, 2 NLxBB, 2 AK47). All in rockwool about 1-1.5m away from 400w HPS (Can't keep temps high enough under CF's) In plastic cups.

Anyway I left a dome on them for first 3 days it is now the 3rd day off. They are all going pale and yellow like they should, but one is about 95% yellow... And im getting a bit worried about her. Should I spray her with some superthrive?

No clones have roots coming out of RW yet....

Can't wait to show you all my grow

Cheers

Man they arent sounding too good...

You got clones with no roots?

Are they under 24 hour light?

Maybe 1.5 metres is too far away....One metre would be max for me with a 400 watter....

Are they getting too cold? Have you got them on a heat mat? Ire they being kept in a humid environemnt to develop their roots?

I got cuttings not clones.... Wanted to get them asap

They get about as much light as fluros... Probably more... I was first thinking they were getting too much light. But they have a plant infront for a bit of shade.

I don't think they are in a bad way they look damn healthy cept this one that is yellowing heaps.

The temp is 25-30c no heat mat. They are in with my HPS so they stay warm :D Doubt they are too cold.

They were kept at close to 100% hummidity first 3 days then i took domes off them the room is at about 60% hummidity. They are not wilting or anything and I keep them nice and moist.

Think I will just give them some Superthrive tommorw, I think they are just hungry.

They dont sound too good. just feed them 1/4 strength bloom nutes, and hope for the best, give em a spray of bottled water twice a day.

Superthrive wont help in rooting, I'd avoid it.

Anyways good luck, I have recieved clones this way, in transit for 4 days and still rooted well. 1m to 1.5m is a good height for the 400w too.

just sit back and pray, maybe make them a dome with glad wrap or find another way to keep the humidity up.

make sure you dont keep the rockwool to wet or dry, keep it in only a few mm's of water, keep em sitting in 1/4 strength bloom nutes and mist them with plain water.

good luck.

Everywhere says clones are ment to go pale green when they are rooting cause all of there energy is going to growing roots.

I spray them with PH 5.5 when they start drying out to like 20%

I had a clear plastic cup on them for first 3 days to make hummidity go up..... But the guide said they only need them for the first 3-4 days so I took them off after 3 and they didn't wilt so that is a good sign.

Isn't superthrive spose to give the plants some nutes and vitamins when it has no roots? If not what the fuck is superthrive for? I bought it specially for my clones

O well everyone pray for my girls.

Dont check for roots - cloning is a delicate procedure. Keep them warm and moist [feed from mist only unless the medium dries out fast] and wait 5 days till you touch them - spraying with a very fine mist is all the movement they should get.

Clones usually do yellow but only on the bottom leaves. How many healthy nodes does your clones have?

This is the guide I used - here I wish I used the Ozstoners one tho now... o well too late

I used RW instead of peat pellets tho (My hydroshop just got them so RW is cheaper  )

I have just been spraying them with ph 5.5-6 water and they have never got more then 10% dry. And I have never given them so much that the RW was in a puddle (As I read that is bad...)

Luke - I was thinking the same but they probably get exact same amount. And if they go under CF's they will get too cold... And I thought its better off keeping them warm then giving a litlte less light. I might go try make it more shadey in a sec after I transplant this bagseed (looks 100% sativa :D ) lets hope its a she!

Thanks everyone
