Spring flower: is it possible?

Recommended Posts

I have 2 Early Durban and 1 Haze Special growing in soil under 600MH. I want to put these outside about end second week of september.

I am going to force flower them with 24 hours of dark and than drop lights back to 12/12 HPS. After about a week or until the buds start to show I'll put them outside. About 14th september.

What does everyone think will it work, or will they revert back to veg...

Also do you measure day time from twilight or sunrise times?

Any advice would be appreciated

I would say messing with their light cycle then putting them outside may stress em as they're going from 24hour light, to 12/12, then to something different when you put them outside. Veg them as per normal inside then put them outside and let them do their thing. If thats veg its veg, and if its flower its flower.

Thanks for the help..

The plants are at 18/6 light pattern.

The 24 hr thing is from something I heard one indoor/outdoor grower say. Before putting his plants out to flower he would light starve the plants for 24hrs, throwing them into flower. Has anyone heard or used this method.

Thanks again

Every season I do this !

Veg them indoors at 18-20 hrs, and then pop them outside when big enough. They won't re-veg until finished. And when finished, obviously rip them.

I time it to put them outside anywhere between July and halfway into Oct. After halfway thru Oct, then the urge to re-veg is greater.

8 weeks outside and done!
