Winter grow QLD

Hi am on Sunshine coast, what are my chances with a winter grow?

Unless it's an auto/ruderalis strain or you have supplicant lighting you have no chance now.

I 'm a little north of you and I say go for it. nice sunny spot of course ... and you won't mind waiting 'til october for the heads, eh?

By the time october comes around the plant will start to re-veg again demistify.

 

The only way around this is to fully enclose the plant in some sort of lightproof box after more than ~12hrs of light, manually putting on and taking it off each day.

ok, Convex ... we're agreed a winter grow is possible, right? as to reveg? yes! so it is up to the grower to be on the ball and pick the heads off before they start to stretch out and eventualy disappear as the plant grows on. I know someone who did this, picked an ounce or so in october (usually second week is deadline) and the plant is heading again now as per normal. it's much bigger than it was in october of course.

 

so it seems to me that how much attention you pay to yr plants is what will get you what you want! big smiles and cheers!
