Advice Seeking

Recommended Posts

I have to let you in on the situation first.. I have been trying to find a way to grow for the last year, an am sick of paying for buds BUT.... I still live with my damn olds ( I know 19 years of age, get a job you bludger) But I have an excuse, I'm studying :( They dont like the idea of plants been grown on there property, even though I can get away with 1 outdoor under the expiation notice system here, they still dont like it..

I got a bag a month or two ago of what was supposed to be red devil, an I sorta know the guy who grows it so I doubt he's bullshiting me, and it had gone seedy much to his horror considering it was hydro? Anyway, I planted these a few weeks ago and the other day, I noticed some had popped through with the warm weather we've been gettting this last week.. I planted them, an this is the funny part, because I knew if they grew, I'd be forced to find a place for them once they got too big for there current hiding spot lol.. tHe problem is, the place CANNOT be on my property, they are there at the moment, in a pot hidden behind some things and I'm sure will start to bet big soon, so I need to find a place to plant them asap..

where is a good place, to plant these plants?, like where they will grow without too much risk of dying, been ripped or me been busted. I'm just after general advice of what I can do to maximise my chances of getting some buds next year off these little suckers, ideas of the types of places I can go, especially if anyone in Adelaide knows of places (Not exact for obvious reasons :o) that I can get away with this stuff without too much risk P.S I live in Northern Suburbs.. Any help appreciated cos I reeeealy want these plants to grow to full maturity. Cheers!!

Outdoor stealth is something that relies on the general public being stupid.

Get yourself some very slim pots, put the seedlings in there, and tie them to the trunk of a tree. Somewhere up high about 20 feet is good. When they get big enough to be noticed you tie the plant around the tree like a climber. No one will be the wiser.

It's a complicated method but if the shit hits the fan, its on council property or a property that isn't linked to you so therefore you're home scot free.

Id prefer to find a place to pull into which camouflages your bike/car [if its a trailbike then duck into the bush and lay it down] along a long road with bush all round it, walk into the bush for a couple of minutes and plant there. Do it at a few spots, dont go back too often, go at different times [when theres almost no traffic - mountain rides are fun at 6-8AM during summer] and make sure the bush is big enough to not be easilly walked within a day. :o

Dont forget bushwalking is a hobby and you need a few litres of water to do this also its easier to find a plant than it is to grow one IMHO. :(

Another thing - to save yourself from needing to go back often get some uncut [course] sphagnum moss and scissors to take with you, grind it up [dont breath it] and then just water it and add it to your soil - it will regrow into a medium that holds 10 times its weight in water [you dont have to cut it but you get a bit more out of it this way]. I only noticed the crap regrew this week when I was sifting/making some fine soil for seedlings - sphagnum should last a week without a decent watering [4L/plant IMO - find a creek if you can!] easilly. lol

Thanx for the ideas.. I havn't decided yet, but there still only little babies, so I'm gonna grow them in there pot outside until they get too big to hide  Then I'm gonna move them somewhere. How long do you all think I have, until these little babies become things that actually look like cannabis plants?? At the moment, they are at the stage where two surated leaves have grown out of the two rounder shaped leaves on the end of the stem, and a few centimetres high..

There's only 1 there now. Had a problem a while back because were I had it hidden, realy wasn't enough light, and the plants stem stretched so high it fell over ;) It's better now though, this plant really is a battler, it should be dead but its still goin. I buried some of the excess stem, prob strange thing to do, but it seems to have helped it, the leaves have grown considerably fatter now, and I think the round leaves are about to fall off and there's more surrated leaves apperaring out of the top. Only thing I'm concerned about, is it dont seem to be growing taller much, jsut fatteniong out in the leaves, but I'm giving it time, I think its still revovering from the other problem. THere are more seeds in the pot which may sprout, I'll have to wait I guess..

P.S I stil havn't decided where I'm gonna grow yet ;)...

Im about to fill my hole with soil for this season. Ill give you a contest to see who grows the best plant hehe. I have another going ATM but its crappy - the new hole is 1'x2' and is in a shadier spot and I will be putting a clone in there on 1st October hopefully [its a dark bushy Indica - a cutting of the plant Im growing now]. ;)

With the spot I have it at the moment, I could probably get it a good 30-60cm b4 it will be too visible, but then I will have to remove it from the property because unfortunatly, my dad is in the early stages of landscaping, he'll find it b4 next March for sure..

But I rekkon I'll be able to find somewhere, or maybe even a friends house, I have a few things brewing in my head.

I thinks somehow, your plant will kick my arse Wilderbud, but I'll be sure to get some digital pix of her later on just to see ;)

P.S. I've named her Betresse. That name gives me the chronic giggles like she hopefully oneday will once combusted into my lungs... If she actually turns out to be a SHE of course ;)

Well Betresse has been eaten by some kind of creature, probably a snail I'm not sure, but she was growing real slow anyway. But not to worry, I have a new seed in the ground, hopefuly it pops, just some bag seed from some kind of indica dom hydro I guess. I fthis dont work out, then I'm determined, I may go chasing some clones, I want to at least get something next year..
