carbon filter

hey Vaz sounds nice man..

FOL : I saw some cheaper carbon for 14.00 for 2kg..maybe the same one you saw...

Also when adding the pellets to the area between the padding...what holds the pellets in place? Sheer weight of the mass?

I lined it with enough wadding so that it was roughly 2 - 2.5 cm of space left between the the two layers of wadding. And it just fills wit the carbon and the carbon stays in place.

i got a 250mm 160 watt centrifugal blower sucking the air through. It works great. I tested it with a Black Domina at eight weeks...full manicure when wet..pungency inside ....nothing outside..zip

ScuzZ ..I suggest you become more informed ..before you make uninformed comments that make you seem like a retard.

ScuzZ... The filter in the design goes at the beginning of the ventilation system..So it would sit in the room...The high powered blower would actually suck the air through the carbon filter first before the ducting.

People with larger setups would incorporate an Ozone genrator further down the air line to douible clean the air.. Or someone with several rooms may have his ventilation systems(containing) small ozone geneators leading to a central area which is then filtered by the carbon filter..In line filters are easy to make as well ..you simply get a piece of PVC piping the diameter of your ducting and cut it to 2.7CM width..then flyscreen one side..pack with activated carbon and flyscreen the other side...the problem with in line filters is they constrict the flow, and only last 1/3 of the time of a filter like inthe design...The design is just a home made version of carbon filters they sell in Hydro shops for 4-500 bills.

WC ru talking about the fan...whys it at the front?

The back of the carbon filter has an end on it so that all air goes into in and is diffused thru the carbon cleaning it....

Im not sure why someone would have another fan to then suck out the clean air...?????

At least I think so...
