carbon filter

I get you, I thought it was to clean the air going into the crop and not coming out, didn't get it........

Maybe you can do it that way ..but all the ones Ive seen have the filter at the beggining.

The air doesnt blow into it from the connector..its sucking smelly air through the carbon..and into the ducting which goes outside...I would have thought it was the other way round as well..but Ive seen a few of them setup ..both online in europe and here in person..and I can assure you they go at the start of the outlet...nothing can get into the outlet without first being cleaned by the carbon..My mate sells the manufactured ones, and Ive sussed his setups...

There maybe more than one way to do it though..

Heya kash...can ya quick pic it for us?

 

Ive seen carbon filters in room about halfway up the wall with ducting onto it which leads to the ceiling and fan which sucks air into the carbon filter....

my camera is shit man..and Ive already given the filters to the bloke..he doesnt show me his grow room

well i want one to stop the smell goin through my house .does any body know where i could find myself a carbon filter and how much i should expect to pay

Use activated carbon from a brewery store and buy yourself some PVC piping from a hardware store, place this in the exit of your growroom to remove some of the smell. It won't get rid of it all, but not system will.

 

One of those toilet sprays can help the cause, but would make your grow room smell like your toilet.

 

Smell is just another part of growing.
