Drugs found in scrub

10 Mar, 2011 10:08 AM It was a well-planned and intelligently mapped hideout but cultivators of the 18 marijuana plants could not keep their secrets from the police. The plants were seized by police on Tuesday from the scrub, less than one kilometre from a main highway.

Despite being fenced off under a low hanging tree with thick branches, the cultivators could not hide the pot planted semi-mature trees.

we all say its a low act, but i wonder how many people could actualy walk past a fully ripe plant out in the scrub and just stand back an admire. even a mere mortal would be tempted to snap off a branch. but then again being tempted and doing it are two different things. i would like to think i wouldnt do it. You raise a good point, but we're talking about two completely different topics here... Are you not also even slightly pissed off with his approach to the fact that someone's work got nicked by the pigs? Someone that may have needed that grow?

of course, I can completly feel for the person who lost the grow. But I'm always reminded of a mate who says to me. when it comes to a grow thats not in a safe property owned by you or some one you know. the chances of a bust are higher. much higher. the persom who did the grow can be thankful he or she did not have the cops waiting under cover for them to check on it or harvest. They in fact have been given a very very very lucky break.

My mate always says A to Z Z to A. he's 83 and been growing all over the place for the last 50 years.
