ona for odour

Recommended Posts

I need some odour control but since im only using 120mm computer fans carbon filter is out of the question as fans are not powerful enough.I have been reading abit about odour control and the yanks swear by a product called ONA or ONA BLOCK.I can only find it on ebay but its overseas, anyone know where i can find this stuff in oz?

buy a pot of carbon from an aquarium store, some cotton wadding from same, some fly screen/mesh of some variety and a length of PVC to fit you fans fill the pvc with carbon, put the wadding at the base with mesh under it, and hey presto! Peice o piss... Make sure it activated carbon, and it could help to have a fan on the other side as well so air is simultaneously being pusshed in and pulled out, as 120mm fans are a little weak in my experience

You don't know what you're talking about AJ. I've used those wall plug fragrance things with great success to mask small, cfl grows and to also supplement my flower room's odorsok which has let a slight odor escape.

In ktm's case he has PC fans which can't pull through a carbon filter and he may not need one if it's a small op.

Best of luck ktm.

hm, a shot glass of shitty vanilla essence, or a room full of pot... i wonder which stinks more... and come on, one spritz of deodorizer every 9 18 or 36 minutes isnt going to do SHIT...

Please, people, think before you tell someone something that could get them busted.

How big a room ya reckon he is running with 120mm computer fans man LMFAO

have had 600watts in a 1.2m by 1.2 m tents bro with stinky sk1........room door closed shit load of air freshener when ppls come over nws :)

Even cooking something on stove when ya have guests will do the job aswell, any bigger ya need a carbon filter or ozone generator

lol, good point about fan size...i have reasons i have to stay on top of smell -IE NO SMELL AT ALL- i figure everyone should try and keep to that, because you might not always have a pot of stew on the stove, you can run out of airfreshener, carbon odor socks can die suddenly requiring reactivation, and pigs can come knocking any time, for any reason.

i dont know, call me paranoid, but things can fuck up at the least expected time for the least expected reason. Stay on top of smells - even if you think it hasnt paid off, you dont know what might have happened if the filter wasnt there

You can get cheap ozone generators for odour prevention on ebay starting at $25-35 aus.

I am looking into one myself as my home made carbon filter hinters airflow a little and this drives my temps up a bit.

Not sure how good these are though, so hopefully someone else has some experience with cheap ozone generators.

Couple of links to different models all below $40.
