What strain? How do they look?

Recommended Posts

G'day everyone!

First post for me. :)

I've got a few plants in the back yard grown from random seeds and was hoping someone could shed some light on what strain they might be. Also how do they look? They are in premium potting mix from Bunnings and I've been feeding them with some old Sensi-seeds 2 part flowering nutrients which I've had for years. The plant in photos 7480 and 7487 looks more like a Sativa to me but I'm no expert. I'm in southern Vic and the plants only get direct sunlight from about 11am onwards.

They look fine, maybe a little potash would help to fill the buds out a bit more.

Strain wise they could be anything, however I will say that they look very much Indica dominant. :scratchin:

On a side note, the 'Sensi' range of nutrients were not made by or affiliated with Sensi seed bank, they were produced by Advanced Nutrients in Canada.

Thanks for the reply. It has really amazed me. These seeds I've had in a drawer for nearly 10 years and I thought I'd throw them in some dirt to see what happened. I put 10 seeds in because I didn't think they would be any good. Not only did all 10 grow but 9 were female. :)

G'day Toasted. I'm in Sth West Vic, and they are going well. I have used for the last 2 years a flowering nute called Rose Focus and it has given me excellent results. The one thing I do is prune hard down here, there are some pics on my thread Sth Hemi/Near the Shed and I try to explain why I do this, but they are going well.

I think that bagseed is often female as feminized seeds are produced on bud that is left flowering for too long and doesn't polenate (AFAIK) which would explain the occational seeds found in baggies and possibly the high rate of females.

im growing 2 plants from seed now and both were also female. good luck perhaps, or something a little more too it.

cheers,

E.
