First Time Grower Getting VERY nervous.......

Recommended Posts

pity you didn't decide to debate the facts before you advised a youngster to rip half the plant matter from a plant that will be ready in a few weeks. A first time grower should sit back and watch and learn, and old farts should not advise them to do something which the overwhelmingly vast majority of people would disagree with.

I have no interest in going to another thread to debate about what you incorrectly advised someone to do in this thread.

Where are the pics of your wonderful grow, hmm? In other words DON"T talk about something you know very little or perhaps nothing about. By the way this young grower is NOT the only one to evaluate, and approve of, this method, so just use some time to at least READ my thread before opening your big mouth. :nono:

I don't grow, but that is not the point.

I know more than the average joe about this subject, I can guarantee that my friend. And it is a forum, the idea is to chat about a common subject, with each offering opinions and ideas. I disagree with your idea.

By the way this young grower is NOT the only one to evaluate, and approve of, this method,

I have been reading about this particular debate on and off for over 10 years on both this site and international forums. The overall consensus is that it is just plain wrong and of no advantage to doing it. I have to give you credit though, no-one that I can remember has done it outdoor, normally it is used as a way of getting more growth tips light in a scrog. But that to me means it is especially ludicrous.

so just use some time to at least READ my thread before opening your big mouth.

I don't want to read your thread. I am annoyed that you advised this new grower to do something which I believe is detrimental to the plant.

Dont think we are going to find common ground on this one so best to leave it here I reckon.....

Short synopsis - I identified my issues/concerns and asked for opinions/advise....I took them all in and chose the best for me which happened to be AN's advise and went with it and in truth at present couldnt be happier (i still think i will get a decent return and resting easier knowing it is no where near as noticable now).......EDIT - .Please note I have quickly edited and REMOVED a joke i wrote here about the situation as I thought it might not go over well....i have a wierd sense of humour!!!!

Peace all

Hi all....just a quick update.....

No issues that I can see the last week or so has just been magic weather and think my lil plant has done quite well.

I nuted for the final time last night (pretty sure i have made my mind up about this!) and plan to begin the final two weeks with a flush on Friday, the plan is to harvest around Fri 15th.

I really am not sure whether this will giver the buds long enough to mature but hairs have started to turn amber....she is laden with small Trichs (however none seem to be turning to mushrooms....not sure whether 30x magnifier is enough to see but should be shouldnt it?) they have done well over the last week and i reckon almost three weeks is the time to go....i have attached a couple of pics, again not great but think you can still get a decent idea of where they are at for comment if you agree/disagree 3 weeks looks about right.....

Safe passage for all......

nb... i know i wouldnt make a photographers arsehole! lol

Mate, you've done well for a first up grow!!! In 2 weeks they're going to be LUVURLEY!!! It's amazing how much they thicken in the last 2 weeks.

Hopefully you've now got the bug...learnt a lot...and go killer next season.

Best of all you can soon kick back & smoke your own home-grown.

Oh...and by the way...I am a big believer in NOT hacking all the plant's solar cells off in the belief that opening the canopy will increase growth.

Simple fact is...the more surface area of leaf the plant has then the more efficient the plant can photosynthesize and create more plant.

And don't be afraid to feed them more often...mine are fed daily right up to harvest

everyone I know loves my smoke so it doesn't do it harm..just my opinion!!!
