chocolope

Hi been growing chocolope for a while and was wondering what you guys think of crossing this with super lemon haze ? Any thoughts

I have only ever had chocolope once and it was when I was in Amsterdam, and let me say it is still to this day the best weed I have ever smoked hands down. The flavour and aromas were nothing similar to what everyone associates with weed, it actually smelt/tasted like chocolate and fruit. I have 2 beans of chocolope which im still waiting for the right occasion to pop. I also have super lemon haze growing this season and she's a sturdy plant.

Crossing the two of them....? I cannot see why this would be a bad idea at all, the weed if anything would definitely not be bad and you would also be introducing the most minute amount of indica into the mix which could add a nice touch to the super lemon. I personally would definately do it and please let us know how it goes. Call it Super Lope Haze

Been growing chocolope outdoors it buds up well heavy though it can be prone to mould. There are a few phenotypes some much more chocolate and much more chunky. It is a nice strain though, i was just thinking that the cross might help with mold and maybe even increase the yeild. Edited February 23, 2011 by hermananian

I also have had the pleasure of trying this delightful strain whilst I was in the dam. Let me say it was defiantly up there with some of my favourite smokes. Didn't beat the dr grinspoon, but goddamn is it a good sativa.

OK finally got this hapening, have a chocolope male and these strains in breeding room. super lemon haze, chocolope and shiva skunk. Should make for some interesting results. Hopefully Edited June 4, 2011 by hermananian

Heya Hermanian =) , I'm putting my money on the Chocolope x Shiva Skunk as being the nicer of the crosses, can't see why the Super Lemon haze won't be nice but mixing the sweet fruitiness of shunk and the chocolate fruit taste of Chocolope will be a taste i think will be hard to beat, and the skunk X should increase yield and make it quite hardy.

Decided to add superskunk to the mix. This is the first time I have grown super lemon haze, its got a choice smell but yeild and bud size is small, it might be better when crossed as chocolope is quite a good yielder and easy to grow. I know what you mean about shiva skunk it should be interesting thats why I included super skunk thought that would taste nice also Edited July 11, 2011 by hermananian

Wow I heard the chocolope is a harder one to grow, and as AJ said yeilds aren't suppose to be too big either!!!

 

Defiantly on my list for my next seed run
