Grow update

Hey all!

Yep, I've been absent for over a week now, getting the grow together with Majestic. Haven't had time to come online at all :D

Now. 4 out of 5 seeds germed (paper towel method), yay! 2 days later they were all germed, put under 2x18w cool whites in a misting chamber, and poked up out of the rockwool another 2 days later on Sunday. Today being Thursday, the bubbies are between 3-4 inches tall, and are going strong ;) The little round leaflets are still present, I'm expecting them to drop off soon as the 3rd and 4th pointy leaves are only just starting to come through. Does this sound right? I hope we haven't got it wrong here ;)

Just a reminder, Majestic and I are growing Verry Berry (#2?) donated by pipeman.

Anyhow, the grow box is just about finished, building it from scratch took a lot of work :P We should have pics after the weekend. Stay tuned!

Oh, also ... an electrical question if anyone knows... we're running a total of 11 lights.... 8x36w fluros and 3x150w mh's ... now because we're not exactly electrical geniuses, these have all been neatly linked over a simple setup of 5 powerboards. The wattage loading with the lights and fan and pump will be around the 750 watt mark. We have 1 main light board branching off to 3 other boards for the 11 lights, the main light board being linked into yet another board that will share with the fan and the pump.

Does anyone think this is dangerous?

We test ran the system with the powerboards linked, and the fan running for a few hours. All terminals and connection points were checked, and none were even slightly warm. Everything seemed fine. We all know a single household circuit can run 2400 watts, there are no other appliances sharing the same circuit as the grow, yet my inner electrician tells me to run this by you guys before we commit to this setup.

Anyways, pics will be on the way after the weekend.

Stay safe!

First let me say I am not a sparky..... :) So this isn't a pro answer.... But I would say if it isn't overloading and isn't warm it will be safe.... Ive ran 3 boards from 1 point 1 after the other without problems... that was for hooking up a tv and computer stereo etc etc etc...

If you can afford it tho just go buy 2 8point power boards.... Can never be to safe can we?
