Praying Mantis

Recommended Posts

Hi, I always like to find Praying Mantis on my plants. This year I've had several on my plants from early on and they are still there. Cannabis must be good camouflage for Praying Mantis to hide in and get a feed. Today I saw one doing his job by catching a sap sucker. They sure are a friend to the grower. I don’t know if they would live indoors under lights!

Bigrat.

Lady bugs are one of the best critters for getting rid of spider mites and aphids. I was watching them (two of them) devour aphids on my chili plant. They did not leave until they were all gone. Then the ants stopped bringing them (aphids) onto the plant. You can get black lady bugs that look like something that is not good for the plant. So before you spray them make sure they are lady bugs and nothing else. Observe them (the black ones) and see if they are eating bugs and not plant before spraying. Edited by brick50

BUT ! For the fellows on this forum

The male praying mantis has only a short life thanks to the one

& only girl he will ever meet & have sex with

Once he's finished the bizzo & looking for his smokes to sit back

& enjoy his accomplishments , His lovely woman attacks & eats him
