Please help confirm the sex of my babies :)

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

Would like to say hi to all my fellow Oz Stoners, first post, damn I feel needy.

I was a complete virgin til 2 months ago, so I'm just wondering if this is still too early to tell or if you would agree with my judgement of my babies' sex.

First Pic - Female (Bad pic, but I see what I think are the first few pistils coming through)

Second Pic - Male (Definitely little balls, and I wanna castrate the thing ASAP if it is)

Third Pic - Female (Again not a great pic, but I believe they are two sets of white pistils coming out either side)

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm just a bit edgy because of the way everyone tells you to get rid of the males ASAP, and that one is more developed than the two I believe are female.

Thanks guys.

In the third pic, my camera wouldn't focus on the top bit that's starting to flower, that's why my hand is behind it to try help the autofocus, didn't turn out great.

Got rid of the male, as for that one, I think it's actually a female, because there's nothing similar to the little balls on the other one. Mind you, if it is a hermie, what do I do with it, get rid of it? Or is it still smokable? And is it likely to pollinate my other female if I do leave it?

If by chance the third Plant is a Hermie,....and the first is a true female......and you leave them together then the Pollen from the hermie will give you Reliable Feminised seeds from the True Female Plant.

The Seed from the Hermie itself will also be Feminised but it will have a higher chance of producing Hermie offspring.

Depends on what you want.

Chances are the third Plant is also true female and you have nothing to worry about.

Didn't mean to scare you.. But it is worth keeping a close eye on them and also knowing what will happen depending on what you end up with. You sound like you know what you are looking at so you should end up with 2 nice Females. :applause:

Yeah, I did my research and I'm glad :)

My mate was like, don't worry about it, just plant it and water it, it's easy. Then one of them started yellowing because of nutrient deficiency, lot more fragile than the mint and strawberries I have growing next to them.

Can't wait, another month or two and I'll be able to smoke my own plants.

Gotta say, I might try the attic for my next grow, outside is convenient because no one can see into my yard without climbing on the roof and I didn't need to buy lighting and shit, but because I rent I always have to be prepared to move them if the landlord decides to inspect.

Also, I only read later that the strain I used is recommended for indoor growing so it only grows to about a metre (3-4 feet). Would be bad if it started growing higher than that outdoors even with my yard the way it is.
