mixing bifenthrin and natrasoap?

Recommended Posts

would it be fine to mix up bifenthrin and natrasoap together an then spray? and also what about the same mix but use a chili and garlic water as the water u add to dilute? (as both chili and garlic are meant to help with mites as a organic solution)

i was using natrasoap it would get rid of a lot of the mites but could never get them all, so i went to bifenthrin was a bit better but still wouldn't get them all oh and before both i tried a garlic, chili and a little dish washing liquid it helped but only as good as the natrasoap.

The natrasoap is Yates Natures Way Insect & Mite Killer. http://www.yates.com.au/products/organic-gardening/pest-disease-weed-control/natures-way-insect-mite-killer/

the bifenthrin is Amgrow chemspray garden insect spray. http://www.amgrow.com.au/products/pest_cs_gardeninsect.htm

I teach people home chemical safety

Rule Number 1:

Never ever mix two chemicals together

Rule Number 2:

Never ever mix two chemicals together

Rule Number 3:

Never ...........you get the idea.

I agree with the Rev, natural or not, do not mix. Rotate giving time for one to break down before using the next, maybe, but a mix, don't do it. It is one of the most dangerous things you can do. Two otherwise harmless chemicals when mixed can cause toxicity to plants, water, humans, fish etc. Poisonous fumes can be given off that have no smell but can kill. They can even have an explosive reaction in certain cases. If you are not a chemist or aren't sure refer to rule number 1.
