tie branches down... or hack them back...

To stop them breaking when you tie the branches down , do it after she has had a big drink when the branches lower to the ground she will be very flexible !

G'day Goodpawn. I know your problem well. I have the same problem. Not a lot to be done about the smell, plant garlic or such plants. I found last year that all I could do was bend them over at 90 degrees until they cracked, not broke, about 300mm down. They still kept growing upward at the tip but that brought them down to a less visable height. It didn't seem to hurt too much, I lost 1 branch only, out of about 30. I tried tying them down, but waited too long and it was a pain in the date, so I gave up that idea. You could grow some camouflage type plants, the old favourites, broad beans, corn and tomatoes, I do, and it helps, plus you get a feed as well.
