carbon filter and fan

hey i have a carbon filter and fan in my grow room?

 

was just wondering if anyone could tell me bit more about them?

hmmm .. i reckon them numbers all added up mean .. bloody good fan mate

 

v= volts, hz= hertz, a= amps, kg= kilos, kw= killowatts, ip= ?, l/min= litres per minute, uf= doesnt matter cause it aint got any

with electrical products, ip is usually a rating of how weather proof it is... or how protected it is against getting damaged.

 

the higher the ip rating the more resistant it is to getting wet or knocked around.

 

 

ip44 is high enough that it can get a bit wet, but cant be submersed in water

Is that just being used as a scrubber? Looks like a 100mm centrifugal to me, which depending on your situation may be a bit small.

 

IMO get rid of the ducting between the fan and the filter, just have them directly attached to each other. Then typically you'd run ducting from the out end of the fan out of the growroom to ventilate air and eliminate the smells.
