My plants got heat stress from the hot days and new lights...

I placed the 3 strip flouros back into the flower chamber and mounted 3 light sockets from a hanging bit of wood and accidentally put the new lights too close to the plants - I had them 2" away and have now moved them 4" away [CFs are cool but theyre not that cool - direct air would have probably worked too and I added a house fan - Il probably let them grow grom 4" to 2" from the light before moving it up a notch].

My plants got curling leaves again and I thought it was just stress from tipping it. Seems it was heat stress as it got hot then and it also got hot a few days ago.

My lights are now on 18/6 incase another hot day wipes out a set of leaves or worse. ;)

My bushy plant developed more leaf curl after I removed all strip flouros and raised the CFs so I decided to put it outside today - Im glad I did as it was getting rootbound anyway. I bought 500g Yates Urea, 500g Yates Potash and 3Kg Yates Citrus Food [it was cheap] plus a 3-pack of coca peat moss and a block of sphagnum moss for the medium. I made a potash-rich [1Tblspn] sphagnum moss mix [2L] and dropped that into the 1'x2' hole then I made a urea-rich [1Tblspn] peat moss and citrus food [4Tblspns] mix [20L] and filled the hole to a level where the pot was level with the ground then I potted the plant into straight peat moss [10L]. Im hoping itll root quickly and start budding from light-cycle shock. I now have 2 plants outdoors and Im thining of putting another one next to the runt-bud as its in direct sunlight for 7 hours and shaded in the middle of the day.

I just got 4 seeds from the same weed thats budding outdoors so I have started them off in the flowering chamber - only one other clone [the bushy plant] is in there as I threw the rest into my hash oil experiment - doh! My new grow should be better as I have proper medium and lighting now although Im using the same medium as the outdoor plants as I might put any good ones outside to flower in buckets. I should have some Afghani#1 and Super Silver Haze seeds to plant [using pure peat but only to grow roots and a few leaves] by the time the seeds I just planted are seedlings so Ill want the flowering chamber to be free as it needs a light and better air-flow. I may as well put an end to this grow thread by saying one plant was put outside [i will put pics in my outdoor grow coverage thread soon - its looking nice] because my chamber sucks right now and I have a couple of nutrient burnt seedlings growing plus Im going to have good seeds soon - Ill try ScrOG later [super-cropping is good enough for me for now]. Edited by Wilderbud
